+ 1 for [POC]

Gripped up was a success for the [Plus One Collective], one of our first exhibitions held at Jimmy's street and skate. People of all sorts piled in to see some of the good, the bad and the ugly style of art work. Artists featured some interesting work ranging from a grip-tape tissue box right to some stylish banners.

Big Kudos to Ben who managed the whole event seemed happy that everything ran smoothly. There was a little tension to the days leading up to the event. People hadn't replied to numerous message left and Ben had began to loose faith and patience in people.

When I rocked up with my humungous wooden interpretation Ben was relieved. There was five days to go and I was the second person who'd actually shown up with the goods. However, when the days came around heaps of artists were submitting their stuff at variable intervals and started to make the gallery seem a little less hollow.

When the opening day came around it was exciting and a little nerve-wracking. Anyway, I showed up an hour late with my photographer and all was good. Besides the typical entrance of myself, the night was really eventful. People from different background showed up to support and see what we had to offer. Musicians, DJs, Skaters, fellow artists, and heaps of others.

Anyhow, I'd like to thank Jimmy for lending the space for everyone to display their stuff and Ben for making this all happen. Big word for those slackers who got their work in. And for everyone else who came and supported us. Peace.
