Offffff to Vancouver!

Well, this is a new venture for me as an artist/designer. I'm going to attempt to make it big for myself in Canada. There are a few cool things happening in Vancouver at the moment and i'm going to be apart of it. It's been a drag at the moment. totally uninspired. I wish i could click my fingers and come up with an idea. I suppose that's what they call a 'designers-block'. Totally over-rated. 

I was happy to get this freelance job, doing a promo poster for an Australian Conference group which are a body of the Government. It's cool.

I cannot wait. I should be drawing and thinking of new ideas, but the weather, moon, or something has gotten the better of me. I need some big pretty pictures and a small studio to do my stuff. I cannot, however, do anything until I leave. Sucks... i had some plans to make a studio. but now it's not happening and i'm even selling my car. :(

Anyway, i think that this is going to be a good adventure. let's see what happens, eh?

Updates...

All seems to be a little stressful. I'm looking at my cumbersome list and am somewhat dumbfounded. However, it's looking like a go ahead with slight changes. Theme's now decided: Bright Orange, Black and White. I've made some mature decisions and some are based on the fact that initially the brief for the whole show was overly ambitious. But, this is what they call learning and also the fact that we can, at a more reasonable pace and price, move forward with the show. 

Credibility wise, the show is still going to be basically the same. I've yet to announce the show date as it's still early days, but there are some sketches in journals and books to determine some characteristic for the show. Sneakers, art, food, beer and music... sounds pretty familiar. 

All's good and looking to go forth after another heated meeting.
